FirstOak Bank
As a cornerstone project in the emerging Thompson’s Station corridor, FirstOak Bank set the standard for future development. The 4,940-square-foot bank on 1.89 acres defines the community’s vision for the surrounding area. M2 Group secured access approval from TDOT, establishing the controlled entry point for the entire district, while coordinating cross-access agreements with multiple stakeholders. The site plan preserved an existing barn, linking the district’s past to its emerging identity.
Strategic problem-solving accelerated the timeline at every turn. Our team obtained a rare temporary pump-and-haul permit, allowing construction to proceed while permanent sewer infrastructure was completed. The project required multiple layers of coordination—extending offsite sewer infrastructure across jurisdictional boundaries to connect with the trunk line and TDEC permitting for utility crossings over regulated streams. Through meticulous coordination across multiple agencies and property owners, M2 Group delivered more than a bank—we helped establish the foundation for responsible community growth.
