Nestled in the rapidly expanding suburb of Lebanon, Tennessee, Barton’s Mill is a 60-lot single-family residential subdivision spanning 54 acres. M2 Group delivered comprehensive civil engineering and land surveying services, including design, permitting and entitlements for the subdivision’s roadways, utilities, and stormwater infrastructure.
The project features a wet pond system engineered to filter runoff and regulate water release, providing sustainable stormwater management with minimal long-term maintenance. By designing 400 cubic yards of compensatory cut within the FEMA floodplain, the project mitigates development impacts while increasing the area’s overall floodwater capacity.
