M2 Group (M2), an innovative civil engineering, land surveying, and development management firm serving Middle Tennessee, continues to expand its team with the addition of Scott Humphreys as project manager. Humphreys brings more than a decade of experience across industrial, commercial, and residential land development, with a successful, client-focused track record.

“Scott’s experience leading complex land development projects and working across multidisciplinary teams reflects the technical depth and collaborative spirit that pushes the work, and the people around him, forward,” said Mike Campbell, PE, senior project manager and partner. “His commitment to quality and passion for the work align with the service-minded culture we’re building at M2 for our team, our clients, and the communities we serve.”

As a project manager, Humphreys will lead a mix of industrial and commercial land development projects, drawing on his extensive experience managing civil design projects for large-scale, multidisciplinary developments spanning site selection, due diligence, zoning, roadway and utility planning, and water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Before joining M2 Group, he served as an engineering with Thomas & Hutton in Nashville, working extensively on industrial, manufacturing, and economic development projects. Before that, he was a project designer with Triple Point Engineering in Macon, Georgia, contributing to residential, commercial, and athletic facility projects, including Mercer University football and baseball stadiums.

Humphreys holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Alabama and is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Originally from Fremont, California, he has lived in Middle Tennessee for nearly a decade.
