M2 Group (M2), an innovative civil engineering, land surveying and development consulting firm serving Middle Tennessee, today announced the promotion of three employees to partner. The newly promoted partners include:

• Mike Campbell, PE – Senior Project Manager
• Brian Holcombe – Senior Project Manager
• Stephen Vander Horst, RLS, CFS – Director of Surveying

They join M2’s Founder and President Matt Bryant, PE, and Vice President Kevin Bohman, PE, to form the firm’s five-member partnership.

Mike Campbell, PE | Senior Project Manager
A licensed professional engineer, Campbell brings over 25 years of civil engineering experience to his partnership role, including seven years with M2 since joining in 2018. He specializes in grading, stormwater management and utility design for residential, industrial and commercial developments. Campbell played a crucial role in developing M2’s engineering design standards and quality assurance processes that drive the firm’s operational excellence while mentoring staff with his solution-oriented approach to complex infrastructure challenges.

Brian Holcombe | Senior Project Manager
Holcombe contributes 20 years of civil site design experience to the partnership, including eight years with M2 as the firm’s first employee hired in 2017. Holcombe evolved from a versatile team member willing to tackle any challenge into a proven leader who manages teams, projects and client relationships. His practical approach and rigorous standards transform development concepts into buildable solutions while he embodies M2’s core values of people, passion and performance.

Stephen Vander Horst, RLS, CFS | Director of Surveying
A registered land surveyor and certified floodplain surveyor, Vander Horst brings 22 years of land surveying expertise to the partnership. He joined M2 in 2021 to establish the firm’s survey division, building it from the ground up into a five-crew operation. Under his leadership, the survey division introduced LiDAR drone technology and operates as a self-sustaining business unit. The Middle Tennessee native is committed to technical excellence and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality deliverables for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
